Jay Walter Nielsen, M.D., is an integrative family physician with over 30 years of experience in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, regenerative orthopedics, and clinical research. He has served as the director of multiple Family Practice groups, Emergency Medicine departments, and research initiatives, including FDA and Integrative Medicine trials. In addition to his medical practice, he has been actively involved in global health initiatives and medical education.

This one-day CME course extends nurse practitioners’ and healthcare professionals’ ability to utilize integrative medicine practices for specific systems, diagnoses, and interventions. The focus of this course is on extending complementary care strategies into complex, multi-system, more challenging applications of Complementary Medicine and Integrative practice. The course includes materials, practical tools, and case-based learning.
Participants do not need to have attended Whole Person Care - Introductions to participate in this course; however, participation in the introductions course is recommended for important diagnostic approaches and critical context.
Earn 8 CE credits with Whole-Person Care - Advanced - a one-day intensive course for NPs & healthcare professionals.
This educational activity will be submitted to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® for approval of up to 8 contact hours of accredited education.
